If you are capable of operating a chainsaw, you could do it yourself. However, there are many dangers involved with proper tree cutting techniques. The best thing for you to do is hire a skilled professional who is experienced and insured. Generally, trees should not be cut down unless there is no other option. If it is dead, unsafe, diseased or blocking construction a Certified Arborists can offer professional advice and provide you with a quote. Some municipalities require a permit to remove a tree, so it is always a good idea to check with your municipality. We also encourage planting a new tree to replace the one that was removed.

Devin, the owner of Timberscapes, takes pride in his certification and enrolls his tree service employees in the program as soon as possible and encourages them to complete their certification.

Cost is usually determined by the diameter of the stump and ease of access. Although the stump grindings are normally left on site, they can be removed at your request. Be sure to ask about this during your quote consultation.
